Discover your potential, starting today

CURRICULUM

  • Understanding Resistance

Identify common reasons people might not “get” your creative work—spoiler: it’s usually their own unresolved fears. Learn to approach these conversations without defensiveness—because your art is not up for debate.

  • Decoding Their Reaction

Recognize the subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways loved ones express skepticism. Master the art of reading between the lines—and knowing when to disengage.

  • Crafting your Narrative

Develop a personal script that translates your creative vision into language mere mortals can understand. Find the balance between mystery and explanation—because over-explaining is just another way of apologizing.

  • Setting Boundaries With Charm

Learn to say “thank you for your input” while mentally filing it under irrelevant noise. Handle unsolicited advice, backhanded compliments, and career “concerns” with elegance.

  • Winning Them Over (Or Not Caring If You Don't)

Strategies for making them care—or at least respect your devotion to your craft. Accept that some people will never understand—and that’s their problem, not yours.

COURSE ROADMAP

Over five weeks, beginning Friday, February 14, you’ll embark on a bold, illuminating journey into the art of talking about your art. Each week, you’ll receive incisive exercises designed to sharpen your creative dialogue, a live Zoom salon to exchange revelations and battle-tested insights, and a scattering of mischievous prompts to keep your imagination deliciously off-balance. Expect an experience as intellectually rigorous as playfully subversive—because how you speak about your creativity is just as vital as the work itself.

  • WEEKLY EMAILS: Every Friday from February 14, expect a sharp, stylish missive in your inbox—part provocation, part practical guide—crafted to refine how you articulate your creative life. Over five weeks, you’ll receive three incisive exercises designed to shift your mindset, sharpen your language, and dismantle the unspoken barriers that keep you from speaking boldly about your artistic passions. Whether you engage with one or all three or simply let them percolate in the background, each prompt will meet you exactly where you are—equipping you to navigate creative conversations with confidence, clarity, and the right amount of audacity.

  • ZOOM: While the course officially begins with your February 14 email, this experience is entirely self-directed—meaning you have the freedom to explore the exercises at your own tempo, weaving them seamlessly into your creative life. But because meaningful conversations thrive in community, we’ll conclude our five-week journey with a live Zoom gathering. Think of it as a salon rather than a seminar—a warm, intelligent space to share insights, pose questions, and connect with fellow creative minds navigating the same exhilarating challenge. The date and time will be announced soon, so stay tuned—it’s a conversation you won’t want to miss.

  • BONUSES: Because creativity is as much about play as it is about purpose, I’ll be slipping in a few unexpected delights throughout our five weeks together. Think of them as creative curveballs—bonus games, provocative prompts, and mischievous extras designed to keep your imagination nimble and your confidence buoyant. After all, talking about your creative life shouldn’t feel like a chore; it should feel like an art form in itself. So, stay open, stay curious, and prepare to be delightfully surprised.
